Yuri Shlyakhin receives second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland

Penza, 31 May 2018. PenzaNews. The general director of the Penza company Grazhdanproekt, Yuri Shlyakhin, received a second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As specified in the text of the document, the order marks achievements of the head of the organization in the field of construction, housing and long-term conscientious work.
Yury Evgenievich Shlyagin was born in the town of Korablino of the Ryazan region on May 12, 1960.
From 1977 to 1982 he studied in Penza Engineering-Construction Institute majoring in architecture.
From 1982 to 1984 he was an assistant of the department of perspective and shadow projections and graphics of Penza Engineering-Building Institute.
From 1984 he worked as an architect in the regional institute Penzagrazhdanproekt, in 1986 he became a senior architect, in 1987 – a team leader.
From January to April 1992 he was the chief architect of projects at the studio of Penzarkhproekt.
From 1992 to 1997 he worked as a deputy director of the design and production workshop Avtor.
In 1997-1998 he was the director of the creative architectural studio Avtor-2.
In 1998 he became the general director of the JSC Penzgrazhdanproekt, which on Fenbruary 1, 2007, was reorganized into the LLC Grazhdanproekt.
He received a medal of the Russian College of Heralds (2008), a medal "For assistance in the field of chemical disarmament", a diploma of honours of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region (2016) and a letter of gratitude from the governor (2017).
