Penza, 5 June 2018. PenzaNews. Construction defects were revealed in a building of the Spassky cathedral, which is built in the historic centre of Penza.

Cracks with a width of approximately 1 cm were detected on columns and arches.

As it was reported by the Penzenskaya Pravda newspaper, specialists informed governor Ivan Belozertsev about it at the on-site meeting on Monday, June 4.

According to minister of construction and road economy of the region Alexander Grishaev, it is up to representatives of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction to assess the degree of the problem.

"After this we will oblige the developer to correct the defects," he said.
