Penza, 7 June 2018. PenzaNews. Celebration in honour of social workers of Penza was held in the regional philharmonic hall on the eve of the professional holiday on Thursday, June 7.

Victor Kuvaytsev, head of the city administration, noted that at that moment over 900 people worked in social institutions of Penza.

"Persons you care about are elderly citizens, veterans, people with disabilities, large families, children without parental care, and people in a difficult life situation. You serve about 10,000 families with children. Thanks to your love for your work and people the powerful state system is converted in a series of small and big good deeds. The main indicator of your work is appreciation of Penza residents whom you helped," he said.

The mayor thanked veterans of the service who had stood at the origins of the service establishment and development.

The best workers of the sphere received letters of gratitude from the head of the Penza administration for conscientious fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of duties and contribution to the development of the system of social protection of city residents, the city hall press service informs.
