Penza, 21 June 2018. PenzaNews. The time of the resumption of the construction of a new circus building in Penza at the site of a completely dismantled one was postponed once again. This follows from the speech of governor Ivan Belozertsev at the 9th regular session of the Legislative Assembly.

"As far as the completion of the circus construction is concerned, you know that money for three years for the completion of the circus were laid [in the federal budget]. It is not the Penza region that is the customer but Rosgostsirk (Russian State Circus)," the head of the region reminded.

He added that during project implementation there had been serious technical difficulties.

"In the near future an auction for the completion of the circus will be announced. We really hope that a good and strong company will participate and with the availability of federal funds, expertise and project, it will proceed to an active completion," Ivan Belozertsev noted.
