Communist Party to hold one-person protests in Penza against retirement-age increase

Penza, 25 June 2018. PenzaNews. Penza communists are going to hold a series of one-person protests against the retirement-age increase. This was reported by the head of the press service of the regional committee of the Communist Party, Margarita Abramova.

She specified that it was also planned to organize the collection of signatures against the reform proposed by the government of the Russian Federation.
"Now we are working on this, and soon our activists will begin collecting signatures," the interlocutor said.
Margarita Abramova explained that initially the communists had been preparing full-fledged protests – on June 23 in the Cuckoo public garden and on June 25 near the monument Pervoposelenets, but the Penza City Hall did not endorse the sites pleading previously scheduled events.
According to her, the remote from the city centre public garden of Friendship was suggested as an alternative, the communists tried to challenge the response, however, on June 22 the Leninsky district court of Penza found it legitimate.
