Number of PenzaNews website page views exceeds 6.3 million since beginning of year

Penza, 1 July 2018. PenzaNews. The number of page views of the independent news agency PenzaNews from January 1 to June 30, 2018, exceeded 6.3 million. This is evidenced by data of the statistics service Google Analytics.

According to available figures, the number of users in the first six months amounted to about 883,000, and over 2 million sessions that lasted on average more than 5 minutes were registered.
Another statistics service – Yandex.Metrika – registered data similar to those provided by Google Analytics. Over six months the number of users amounted to about 877,000, the number of page views – about 6.5 million. At the same time, the average duration of a visit was slightly longer than that registered by Google Analytics and equalled over eight and a half minutes.
In June 2018 PenzaNews website traffic increased compared to the previous month. Yandex.Metrika registered over 185,000 users, almost the same result as registered by Google Analytics and Liveinternet. According to all three measuring instruments, the number of page views of the news website amounted to more than 1 million.
According to Google Analytics, from January to June 2018, Russia is an unquestionable leader among the countries from where PenzaNews website was visited – almost 93%. In addition, the Internet resource was interesting for users from Ukraine, USA, the Czech Republic, Finland, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
The majority of website page views were made with a help of computers – over 72%, smart phones – about 25%, and tablets – over 3%.
The ration of men and women in terms of sessions from January to June was 53% against 47%. At the same time, visitors of the PenzaNews website are mostly young and middle-aged people, who are considered to be the most active and solvent audience all over the world.
Thus, in the first six months of 2018 most users were aged 25-34 (29%) and 35-44 (25%). The number of visitors aged 45-54 was about 19%, 55-64 – 14%. The audience of so-called "extreme age boundaries" is relatively small: 7% were young people from 18 to 24 years old, 6% - seniorrs in the category 65+.
