Penza, 8 July 2018. PenzaNews. An average family with a child living in the Penza region will need almost 6 years to save up for a standard two-room flat at current prices using all potentially free money that remains after minimum required spending. This is evidenced by the results of the research of the agency RIA Rating, which was used for drawing up rating of regions in terms of availability of housing acquisition in the first quarter of 2018.

The same as the vast majority of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, in comparison with the beginning of 2017 the situation improved – at that time the potential term during which it was possible to save up for housing was 6.5 years.

The leader of the rating is the Magadan region, where a couple raising a child can save up for a two-room flat in about a year. It was followed by Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs – there it will take a family 1.5 and slightly over 2 years respectively.

The Penza region occupied the 50th position in the rating.

The list is closed by Dagestan, where families have to save money for almost 14 years. Top three outsiders also include Sevastopol and Kabardino-Balkaria, where the period is more than 12 and about 13 years, respectively.
