Director of the housing and public utilities department of the city Maxim Ivankin warned the management of the Moscow company Private Construction, which had been contracted to repair Austrina street in Penza, about a fine of 1 million roubles in case of further delay of the commencement of works.

"Works in Austrina street are not being conducted. We have sent a complaint to the management of the company Private Construction. Our next step, if the works do not begin, will be the imposition of a fine of 1 million roubles," he noted at the meeting of the headquarters for the implementation of the project Safe Roads of High Quality, which was held on Wednesday, July 11.

Maxim Ivankin also reminded representatives of the contractors that for rapid payment it is necessary at the right time to provide documents for the entire amount of work performed.

As it was said by the press service of the Penza administration, at the meeting the contractors also reported on the progress of work on signed contracts and discussed the issues that emerged during the implementation of the repair with representatives of utility companies.
