"If it is possible according to the law, next year and even now it is necessary to install additional banners on our highways at the expense of the funds allocated for road maintenanceю They would encourage drivers to reduce speed and remind them of the fact that a certain number of people died in traffic accidents on a particular stretch of a road. This should be done promptly, the information should be updated to encourage drivers to reduce speed," he said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, July 16, turning to the head of the regional Ministry of Construction, Alexander Grishaev.

Ivan Belozertsev also expressed an opinion that information work was not well organized on TV and in online media.

"No resources for these purposes should be spared, more information should be provided," the region head noted.

The governor also suggested that mobile cameras and their imitations should be used on highways more actively.
