"Farewell of Slavianka will be played at the railway station Penza-I again. It was agreed with head of the Penza region KbshZhD [Kuybyshev railway] Rashid Saybatalov. It is a wonderful tradition to be preserved," the head of the region wrote on micro blog Twitter on Friday, July 27.

However, he did not specify for passengers travelling by what trains the march, which for many years was put on during the departure of the deluxe train "Sura" from Penza to Moscow, will be played.

"I think that the repertoire can be expanded by Penza songs such as '18 Year', 'Dear Grove', and others," Ivan Belozertsev added.
