According to the City Duma press service, the candidates were considered by members of the standing commission on local self-government, control over activities of local self-government bodies and officials on Monday, October 15.

Among them were deputy chairman of the Veterans Council of the Pervomaisky district of Penza Alevtina Sidorova, deputy director of the City Employment Centre Evgenia Nelyubina, head of the Penza department of the Russian Pension Fund Elena Vdonina, as well as professor of Agricultural University Lidia Karpova.

The final decision on this issue will be taken at the session on 26 October.
