About 400 employees of the Federal Service for Execution of Punishment in the Penza region, fighters of the special troops Phobos, the police and representatives of the National Guard of Russia participated in tactical exercise on Tuesday, October 16, during which activities for search and detention of the convicts escaped from colony were trained.

As the press service of the regional department of the Federal Service for Execution of Punishment told PenzaNews, the exercises were led by head of the regional department Vladislav Muravyev, and the operational headquarters was headed by his deputy Valery Volkov.

"The situation on the search for criminals was worked out with the participation of service dogs and a military helicopter," the FSEP regional department said.

The press service explained that the situation had been as close to real as possible.

"The results of the exercises were summed up at the meeting of the operational headquarters. All actions of law enforcement officers received a satisfactory assessment," the institution maintained.
