For a short time, the natural phenomenon could be seen by residents of different districts of the city, in particular these were those living in the centre, Arbekovo, Zapadnaya Polyana, Okruzhnaya street and Ternovka.

Falling on the ground, the snowflakes did not form a cover but melted almost immediately.

However, the first snow impressed many Penza residents. Some tried to take a picture or to make a video of it, and then posted the footage on social networks.

According to data of the Penza hydrometeorological centre published on the website of the main EMERCOM department of Russia in the Penza region, small widely scattered precipitation is also expected in the Penza region on the night of Sunday, October 28.

The air temperature will drop to-2ºC at night.
