61 counterfeit banknotes revealed in 3rd quarter of 2018 in Penza region

Penza, 1 November 2018. PenzaNews. 61 counterfeit banknotes were revealed in the third quarter of 2018 in the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the Volga-Vyatka main department of the Bank of Russia in the Penza region.

According to the institution, most of the counterfeit banknotes were in denomination of 5,000 roubles – 44 pieces.

15 counterfeit notes of the Bank of Russia with a face value of 1,000 roubles were also revealed.

In addition, two counterfeit banknotes of 100$ and 500€ were detected.
