Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev awarded employees of regional divisions of the State Traffic Inspectorate presenting them two new Toyota Camry and ten Lada Granta cars on the eve of the Day of the Employee of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Russian Federation, on November 9.

The ceremony was held in front of the regional government.

Head of the Penza region department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Sergei Shchetkin noted that all cars will be used at work on roads.

"This is a significant contribution to road safety. This year we have observed a certain decrease in all the criteria for the traffic police. I think the trend will be maintained in the future," the press service of the regional government quotes Sergei Shchetkin.
