Penza, 11 November 2018. PenzaNews. Head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev was dissatisfied with the state of the area adjacent to the memorial erected in the precincts of Penza near the federal highway M5 "Ural" in 1975 in memory of the soldiers who had been sent to the front from Seliksa camps, which was renewed in anticipation of the 73rd anniversary of the Great Victory.

On Sunday, November 11, visiting the memorial, he ordered head of the administration of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza Oleg Denisov to organize cleaning within two days. In particular, he instructed to clean the alley and the area near the monument from fallen leaves.
"The memorial was well renovated and opened on the eve of Victory Day, and an information stand with a historical reference was installed at the entrance. Now it is necessary to maintain the significant historical place in a good condition," the press service of the City Hall quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
