Penza, 1 December 2018. PenzaNews. Moscow company Digital Group, whose head Igor Shabalinov discussed the prospects of possible cooperation with governor Ivan Belozertsev at a meeting in Penza in summer 2018, was the only participant in the electronic auction for the execution of works on architectural illumination of the building of the Penza region government.

As it is noted in the protocol drawn up following the results of the consideration of the application, it meets the requirements.

Due to the fact that there were no other bidders, the auction was declared invalid.

It is assumed that the contract with the Moscow company will be concluded at a maximum price that exceeds 1 million roubles.

In accordance with the requirement of the state budgetary institution Administration of the Affairs of the Governor and the Penza Region Government, acting as the customer, the illumination of the building in Moskovskaya street should be started latest on December 16.

As it was reported before, in October 2016 at a round-table meeting in the regional government Ivan Belozertsev ordered to develop a project of external illumination of the building in the centre of Penza.

At the beginning of 2017, the head of the region said he did not see any noticeable steps in this direction. However, according to Ivan Belozertsev, illumination of buildings and elimination of intrusive advertising and non-stationary trade facilities from the red lines helped to change the city's appearance.

In August of the same year the governor expressed an opinion that Penza had failed to fulfil the work on illumination of the buildings and a few months later ordered officials to pay attention to the issue once again.
