About 660 compatriots move to Penza region over 11 months
Penza, 4 December 2018. PenzaNews. 658 people took part in the regional sub-programme "Assistance to Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad to the Penza Region in 2014-2020" from January to November. This was reported by consultant of the Department of Labour, Demography and Labour Migration under the regional Ministry of Labour Olga Tuzova at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission held in the department.
According to official data, compatriots from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Belarus and Germany moved to the Penza region since the beginning of 2018.
The average age of the participants was 30.3 years.
The majority of citizens began to live in the Bessonovsky area – 115 people (18% of the total), in the Kamensky area – 96 people (15%) and in the Penza one – 85 people (13%).
According to the regional Ministry of Labour, 547 people received financial support for a total of 5.1 million roubles. 92% of the programme activities are funded from the federal budget, 8% – from the regional one.
