Penza, 29 December 2018. PenzaNews. In 2018, the Russian Federal Service for Execution of Punishment executed 30 state contracts for the production of garments for internal needs of the penal system in full for a total of 19.5 million roubles.

This was clothing for personnel and clothing allowance for inmates. In particular, the convicts sewed shirts, blouses, pants, suits for convicts, hats and bed linen.

The press service of the regional service for execution of punishment noted that all institutions were actively working with third-party customers when it comes to the provision of sewing services.

A complete load of sewing sites allowed employment of 437 workers from among prisoners.
