Kuznetsk, 5 January 2019. PenzaNews. Sixteen children were born in Kuznetsk of the Penza region in the first days of 2019. This was reported by the press service of the town administration on Saturday, January 5.

"These are eight boys and eight girls," the city hall specified.

The press service noted that this was six babies more than the number of those born over the same period last year.

"A boy was the first to be born at 01:45. One girl did not wait for the New Year to come and was born as a gift to her mother on December 31 at 23:40," the administration of Kuznetsk explained.

The city hall added that certificates of the fellow countryman will be handed over by tradition to all parents of the newborns on the day of discharge.
