The principle of its work has been presented to Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, his deputy Yuri Ilyin and head of the city Nikolai Taktarov on Sunday, January 6.

It lies in the fact that the surveillance cameras located at intersections allow real-time monitoring of the situation in these areas. Due to this, professionals have an ability to adjust the operation of traffic light equipment remotely, preventing the occurrence of traffic jams and congestions.

Employees of the organization engaged in keeping road signs and traffic lights in Penza in order are responsible for this.

Victor Kuvaytsev highly appreciated the functionality of the intellectual complex.

"In the future, it is necessary to consider the possibility of introducing the system in other parts of the road network within the framework of the project Safe Roads of High Quality," the press service of the city administration quotes the mayor.
