According to the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the inspection will last three days.

"In the course of the campaign vehicles will be stopped to establish signs of alcohol intoxication in drivers, which will be followed by examination," the State Traffic Inspectorate explained.

The department urged drivers to treat this with understanding.

"In order to counteract the facts of corruption and illegal actions of employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, citizens can use audio and video recording," the propaganda department reminded.
