They told the mayor about the idea, demonstrated sketches of the future monument and asked about the procedure for obtaining permission to install the object.
According to the initiators, the sculpture can become a collective image of blacksmiths.
The head of the city administration liked the idea, but noted that the project should be approved by the regional town planning council.
"To coordinate the placement of the sculptural composition, you need to prepare a draft project, including the location, as well as specify the terms of production and sources of funding. The department of urban planning and architecture of the city administration will help you with this. Then this project should be submitted to the working group of the city planning council under the government of the Penza region," Victor Kuvaytsev said.
The mayor noted that the horseshoe, depicted in the hands of a blacksmith on the sketch, could become a symbol of good luck for the residents and guests of the city.
"New art objects transform the appearance of the streets, some of them caught the fancy of the citizens and became the sights of the city," the press service of the administration of Penza quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
