Penza, 12 March 2019. PenzaNews. A series of cultural events organized in the framework of the all-Russian festival Crimean Spring will be held in Penza on March 14-18.

They will be dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.

"As part of the celebration, literary readings, music festivals, concerts, popular science lectures, exhibitions, presentation of Crimean goods and sports events are planned, "the Department of Information Policy and Media of the Penza region told PenzaNews.

It is expected that art and music schools, educational organizations, theatres, parks and libraries will join the festival.

In addition, thematic lessons will be held in schools.

It is assumed that similar events will be organized in other cities of Russia.

In Moscow, the celebrations will be held at 13 venues. The Public Chamber of Russia took the initiative, and the authorities of the capital supported it. The programme of events will include presentation of tourist brands of the peninsula. Tasting, fairs and a jazz festival similar to that held in Koktebel are planned.
