Penza, 19 March 2019. PenzaNews. Specialized forestry machinery and fire control equipment were purchased for the Penza region in the framework of the programme "Forest Preservation" of the national project "Ecology".

The equipment was transferred to the subordinated institutions of the regional Ministry of Forestry performing state tasks for the protection and reproduction of forests in the Penza region in advance of the fire season and the forest season.

In particular Nikolsky Leskhoz and Yursovsky Leskhoz received five ploughs and four cultivators worth about 900,000 roubles. In addition, 359 fire fighting back packs were purchased.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry, Penza region was the first of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation to conclude state contracts on target subventions from the federal budget for the purchase of such equipment.
