In Penza region 10 women refuse abortion after help of authorities in solving problems

Penza, 18 March 2019. PenzaNews. In January and February 10 residents of the Penza region changed their minds to have an abortion after contacting members of working groups in areas that promised to help them with solving problems of social and domestic nature. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

Thus, seven residents of the Serdobsk area and one woman from each the Kamensky, Kolyshleysky and Nikolsky areas decided to keep pregnancy.
Three of them received an opportunity for retraining and employment. Two of them received plots of land. Older children of two more women were subscribed to a kindergarten. The spouse of one of the applicants was directed to treatment for alcohol dependence. One expectant mother signed up for entry into a housing program with the help of a working committee. Another woman received necessary financial assistance.
In just the first two months, 82 residents of the Penza region refused to have an abortion.
