Penza, 21 April 2019. PenzaNews. Sberbank plans to allocate 100 million roubles for the construction of a new fountain in the centre of Penza. This was reported by governor Ivan Belozertsev.

"Sberbank is going to allocate 100 million roubles. Another 100 million roubles will be allocated from the regional budget. In addition, part of the funds will be granted by the city. We have the following approach: when something is done, it must be done in the best possible way to keep up with current trends," he said at the community workday held on April 20 when commenting on the plans for improvement of popular recreation areas in Penza.

Speaking about the parkland from the Olimpiyskaya alley to the building of the former House of Officers, where shopping centre Na Leningradskoy will be opened, and Okruzhnaya Street, the head of the region explained that to minimize budget costs the area will be divided into three parts for convenience: the first will be improved at the expense of road companies, the second one – at the expense of builders, and the third one – by the municipality.

"We will start to clean this area, to free from unnecessary overgrowth. We can see that this is the way the things are done in Europe. The project will be similar to that of the public garden of Teachers near the pedagogical institute. People are grateful for this public garden," the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
