"It is necessary to start mowing the lawns in designated areas. First of all, this applies to the areas located at the so-called red lines," he told the management of the municipal unitary enterprise Zelenoe Khozyaystvo Goroda Penzy and heads of district administrations after the inspection of city streets on Sunday, May 5.

The mayor noted that the heads of city institutions, social facilities and commercial enterprises had to bring surrounding areas in order promptly.

"If the 'yellow carpet' isn't removed at the right time, seeds of the weed will be spread throughout the city," the press service of the Penza administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
