Penza, 21 May 2019. PenzaNews. Children's playgrounds installed in Penza near the houses, where mostly elderly people live, should be moved to where they will be in a greater demand. This opinion was expressed by mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

"Some buildings became rather old and their residents are not young anymore. They say the following: We do not need the playground but it is still located next to our block of flats," he noted at a meeting held at the Penza administration on Tuesday, May 21.

The mayor added that in that situation a new application for the facilities had to be found.

"If there are such cases, and they do exist, for example in the Zheleznodorozhny district, it is necessary to take this into account and to relocate the playground facilities," Victor Kuvaytsev said.
