The possibility of introducing the project "Cashless Transport" in the regional centre was one of the topics of the working meeting between mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and the chief manager of the Penza branch of Sberbank, Marina Dementieva, which took place on Wednesday, May 29.

Marina Dementieva noted that the project would allow citizens to pay for travel not only in cash, but also by card of any bank.

According to her, the system helps to improve the quality of passenger service and ensure transparency in the market of transportation.

In turn, the head of the administration of Penza noted that the launch of the project was dictated by time.

"It is necessary to discuss the issue of its implementation in detail with transportation companies," the press service of the city hall quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
