Penza, 11 June 2019. PenzaNews. 857 third and subsequent children were born in the Penza region from January to May 2019. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Labour.

"In the framework of the regional project Financial Support for the Birth of Children in the Penza Region, 5,255 large families received a monthly allowance for the birth of the third and subsequent children in the amount of 9,398 roubles, which will be paid until the child reaches the age of three," the ministry noted.

The press service added that the total amount of funds allocated for this purpose in the first five months of 2019 equalled 256.7 million roubles, including 68 million that were allocated from the regional budget.
