Penza, 12 June 2019. PenzaNews. The third regional festival Penza Sweets started as a part of celebration of the Day of Russia and the City Day in the public garden Box of Proverbs in the centre of Penza on Wednesday, June 12.

It aroused great interest of the residents, who flooded the venue from the first minutes.

Everyone was invited at the festival to get acquainted with products of Penza manufacturers, taste marmalade, cookies, candies, gingerbreads and other sweets, try ice cream, kvass, lemonade, as well as purchase favourite products.

In particular, there were stands of enterprises of the Union of Penza Confectioners, factories Rusproduct, Vanyushkiny Sladosti, Russki Konditer, Miroslada, groups of companies Unitron, Bekovski Food Plant, companies Diad, BosaNova, Penza Chocolate Factory, Ageevsky and other Penza producers, such as firms Kholod and Iceberry, plants of the companies Visit, Ochakovo, Penza Confectionery Factory.

In addition, an entertainment program with puppets and competitions was prepared.

Governor Ivan Belozertsev, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Valery Lidin, mayor of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev and head of the city Nikolai Taktarov got acquainted with the presented products.

Ivan Belozertsev talked to the representatives of the Penza enterprises. He was interested, in particular, what raw materials are used in the production, where they are supplied from, and whether employees are satisfied with wages and working conditions.

The organizer of the festival Penza Sweets was LLC Cluster Development Centre.
