Issues related to the work of carriers became the main topic of a working meeting between deputy chairman of the government of the Penza region Dmitry Semenov and mayor of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev on the one side and heads of LLC TK Dilizhans, LLC Merkuriy and LLC Urban Electric Transport on the other.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, the head of the administration of Penza recalled the requirements for the appearance of public transport drivers.

"This is a matter of culture and respect for passengers – both in terms of clothing and in terms of behaviour and communication with others," Victor Kuvaytsev said.

In turn carriers assured that till the end of June the drivers of minibuses, buses and trolleybuses would all wear one-colour light shirts and trousers as a summer uniform.

The topic of salaries of the employees of the energy company Gorelektrotrans was also touched upon. It was decided to consider the possibility of increasing it.

In addition, the issue of extending the validity of preferential travel on routes No. 30 and No. 89 was raised.

According to the press service of the city hall, the option is currently under consideration.
