In the framework of the project, analysts ranked constituent entities of the Russian Federation from the most problem-free one, which eventually occupied the first position, to the most problematic one.
The position of each region was determined by the final score calculated by a special formula. The lower the score was, the higher the position was in the rating.
Thus, in 2018 the Penza region occupied the 12th position with a total score of 25.29, but in 2019 the region went down to the 18th position with a result of 26.85 points.
Khakassia, Chelyabinsk and Moscow regions became the most disadvantaged regions in terms of the number of drug-addicted people.
The most drug-free regions of the Russian Federation are the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Arkhangelsk region and Chechnya.
