"Now there is an active construction and repair of roads in the Penza region, in municipalities. It's raining. Do not lay asphalt in the rain so that there is no violation of the technology of road construction!" he noted at an action meeting held in the regional government on Monday, August 5.

Ivan Belozertsev added that the quality of road repairs should be strictly controlled.

"There should be just one attitude: when roads are poorly built we should not allow the companies to carry out contracted works in the future and they must eliminate the defects now. At the same time we must avoid the situation when organizations that win the right to exercise control in a tender wait till a company violates some rules and then make claims showing that they do work. It is necessary to monitor the process of road construction itself," the head of the region explained.
