A fact of non-provision of a drug to a disabled person of group II who had to receive it free of charge suffering from cancer was registered in the Lopatinsky area of the Penza region. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the regional Prosecutor's Office on Monday, August 19.

It is specified that in just the first half of 2019, the employees of the supervisory authority revealed more than 100 violations of the rights of disabled people, pensioners and other socially vulnerable categories of citizens.

"With a view to eliminating them, 62 submissions were made, and 59 guilty persons were brought to disciplinary responsibility as a result of their consideration. According to the resolutions of the prosecutors, three persons were brought to administrative responsibility, 14 lawsuits were sent to the court, 16 protests against illegal regulatory acts were submitted," the press release explains.
