Penza, 20 August 2019. PenzaNews. Workers started laying granite sprayed tiles on the upper promenade zone of the Sura River embankment in the centre of Penza. This was said by mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

"The upper promenade area of the embankment acquires a new look – laying of granite sprayed tiles and development of circles around tree trunks began there," he wrote on his Facebook profile on Tuesday, August 20.

According to Victor Kuvaytsev, the next stage will be the arrangement of a pedestrian zone and a bicycle path along the roadway.

As PenzaNews was informed by the press service of the Penza administration, the work is conducted on schedule. To date, an automated lawn irrigation system was installed, and the construction of a ramp on the Bakuninsky bridge side is in progress.
