Penza, 28 August 2019. PenzaNews. A container for collection of batteries was installed in Moskovskaya Street in Penza between the Lunacharsky Regional Drama Theatre and shopping centre Gorodok in the framework of the all-Russian campaign Battery Collection Week 2019.

In Penza it will last till September 1.

The container contains the symbols of the organizers – company Duracell and Megapolisresource Group, as well as visual instructions indicating what can be put inside. These are used batteries of different size and type as well as electronics.

The inscription on the container reads: "Recycling is the most environmentally friendly way to utilize batteries. In the process of processing, it is possible to get valuable raw materials that are used for the production of various items – from pencils to mineral fertilizers.
