Penza, 20 September 2019. PenzaNews. Sculptural composition Station Bell was installed on the platform of the first track of the Penza-I railway station.

According to Valeria Mityakina, press secretary of Penza region Kuibyshev Railway – branch of JSC Russian Railways, the art object was presented by a local resident on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of Kuibyshev Railway.

As the press secretary said, the rack was made by employees of the locomotive service depot of Kuibyshev Railway of the Penza region.

"Now premium service trains will depart from the railway station Penza-I with the old bell ringing. Anyone can not only be photographed against the background of the cultural object, but also try themselves as a station guard and give signals to the station bell," the interlocutor explained.

The station bell is made of brass and copper alloy. Its height is 22 cm, the weight is about 7 kg.

The outer surface features an engraved inscription "RZhD".
