Convicts make sewing products worth 16 million roubles in Penza region

Penza, 23 September 2019. PenzaNews. Convicts serving sentences in penitentiary institutions of Penza region have made sewing products worth over 16 million roubles since the beginning of 2019.

Convicts make sewing products worth 16 million roubles in Penza region

They have produced mittens, socks, suits, underwear and bed linen as well as jackets, trousers and hats for the personnel worth 10 million roubles.

The convicts provided sewing services for third-party customers in the amount of over 6 million roubles. This was mainly work clothes and linen.

Loading of sewing areas allowed employing 327 people from among special contingent, the press service of the Penza Region Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
