Penza, 31 October 2019. PenzaNews. The main Christmas tree of Penza will have been installed in Lenina Square in Penza by December. This was announced by Vera Feigina, head of the city's cultural department.

"We've reviewed the condition of its elements and Christmas tree decorations. It will have been installed by December 1," she explained at the meeting held at the city hall on October 30.

Vera Feigina added that 14 sites have also been defined in the city's neighbourhoods in order to organize events for the residents.

According to her, about 100,000 citizens of Penza take part in folk festivals annually.

Festive events will be held from December 15 to January 15, according to the press service of the city administration.
