Penza, 12 December 2019. PenzaNews. The second volume of the Red List of Penza region devoted to fauna was republished with the number of copies equalling 2,000.

It reflects the current state of rare, threatened, and endangered species permanently or temporarily inhabiting the region.

As the press service of the Ministry of Forestry informed PenzaNews, the publication contains a description of 115 species of invertebrates and 100 species of vertebrates, including information on their numbers, limiting factors and protection measures.

"All entries are illustrated with maps of species distribution, photos or drawings," the agency explained.
