Penza, 14 December 2019. PenzaNews. The inclusion of Penza regional public charity fund Civil Union in the register of non-commercial organizations, performing the functions of a foreign agent, made it difficult to prepare the festival Good Penza: Snow Version, which is held in 2019 with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. This was announced by deputy director of Civil Union for public relations Ekaterina Fedotova.

"It has become somewhat more difficult to hold this event," the interlocutor said.
According to her, the number of participants remained approximately at the same level – the festival brought together more than 30 public organizations and city communities, which acquaint visitors with their activities, hold charity fairs, workshops and lectures.
"In fact, there's a tendency for someone to refuse, someone new to appear. This time, the trend is also observed," the deputy director of the fund stated.
At the same time, she stressed that the event, which was designed to bring together NGOs and concerned citizens who wanted to help non-profit organizations, but did not know where to start, had lost the support of regional authorities.
"Before we were assisted in holding and organizing the festivals in summer and winter by the Department of Domestic Policy and the Penza region government, but now they are debarred and do not help us. We are doing everything on our own," Ekaterina Fedotova said.
