Need for housing for orphans to be analysed in Penza region

Penza, 23 December 2019. PenzaNews. Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev instructed to work out the issue of region’s participation in a new six-year programme to provide housing for orphans and children left without parental care. The launch of the programme was announced last week at a meeting chaired by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"I am instructing minister of labour, social protection and demography of Penza region Alexei Kachan, minister of construction and road economy of the region Alexander Grishaev, and heads of administrations to work out the indicators of the region's participation in the new programme in order to understand what funds are needed and how many orphans in each municipality are already on the list to get housing," Ivan Belozertsev said at a meeting with heads of administrations of city districts and municipalities held via videoconference on Monday, December 23.
He also set a task to prepare a forecast for the next 5-6 years.
Ivan Belozertsev urged not to allow fraudulent companies to enter the implementation of the programme.
