Penza, 26 December 2019. PenzaNews. Thematic exhibition Reflection of Country's History in Christmas Decorations is organized at Penza Regional Young Tourist Centre.

The exposition was gathered by the efforts of further education teacher Tatyana Skripova.

The exhibition displays Christmas decorations in the shape of household items such as samovars, kettles and lamps, those based on fairy tales, dedicated to the exploration of space and others. Visitors can see decorations made of pressed cotton wool, wire and glassware, so-called "pegs" as well as "minis".

Interior items of 1950-1970s help to plunge into the atmosphere of the Soviet era.

As the administration of Penza Regional Young Tourist Centre said, the exhibition can be visited till January 14 by appointment.
