Penza, 15 January 2020. PenzaNews. Punishment in the form of administrative arrest for one day was assigned to a 26-year-old resident of Penza, who after posting a comment on a social network was found guilty by the court of committing offence under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offence of the Russian Federation "Incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity".

"The man was sent to serve the punishment straight from the courtroom," senior assistant of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova said.

She specified that by that time, the comment posted by the Internet user in one of the communities on the social network, which was aimed at inciting hatred and hostility towards a group of people on the grounds of their nationality, had been removed.
