Penza, 20 March 2020. PenzaNews. 190 poisonings by narcotic substances, including 23 fatal cases, were registered in Penza region in 2019. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

14 of the deceased were never registered with health facilities.

According to official information, the total number of drug addicts identified in Penza region reached 1 332 people at the end of last year.

Penza and Kuznetsk account for the largest number of drug addicts.

There was a teenager addict identified in Penza. There were no cases of drug addiction among children.
