“Dear friends, there have been a lot of rumours, speculations, and lies all this week in Penza region regarding the situation with the coronavirus, with me and my family. And the situation has not changed much. All this week I have been answering calls and messages from friends, colleagues and acquaintances. Everyone asked what happened and whether it was true that my wife, myself and my son had fallen ill with coronavirus. I've answered honestly and openly all this time. I think it's time to share it with everyone. Yes, it's true, my wife got sick, and she was diagnosed with coronavirus. My son and I have negative test results,” Mikhail Lisin wrote on his profiles on Facebook, Instagram and VKontakte.

According to the deputy, he is ready to talk about how everything developed and what the situation is now.
