In Penza 14-day quarantine awaits tenants of apartment building due to coronavirus

Penza, 25 March 2020. PenzaNews. A two-week quarantine awaits residents of an apartment building in Penza in connection with the confirmation of novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) in their 77-year-old neighbour. This was announced by head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor Mikhail Perekusikhin.

"The whole entrance will be quarantined. All tenants of that entrance will be in isolation for 14 days,” he said commenting on the situation on the air of the program Our News on Channel 11.
Mikhail Perekusikhin added that the enforcement of the quarantine will be carried out by employees of the internal affairs bodies.
According to information available to PenzaNews, this is one of the panel houses in Karpinskogo Street in Penza, which has nine entrances.
