New forest firefighting equipment purchased in Penza region

Penza, 30 April 2020. PenzaNews. Two forest firefighting complexes based on a GAZ truck and two low loaders for transportation of heavy machinery were purchased in Penza region as part of the Forest Preservation Federal Project of the National Ecology Project. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry.

"The equipment will be transferred to the forest firefighting centre," explained the agency.

The press service added that in 2020 more than 44 million roubles were allocated to Penza region within the framework of the Forest Conservation Project, including 27.7 million roubles for the purchase of forest firefighting equipment.
